Our client, an international company, is looking for an experienced:

Account Manager

German, Italian, English

Mission Statement :

Develop the indirect On-Premise customers and build the company portfolio with our “Route to market” Partners
Promote and create demand for new ventures & new brands

Main Responsibilities :

Business Development:

  • Define and deliver distribution objectives based on a targeted scope of On-Trade accounts, together with our Preferred Partners
  • Drive brand performance according to Brand Equity KPIs: volume and value, quality of the distribution, quality of brand activations
  • Manage front-line: visit targeted accounts to introduce and sell the brands, including product listing, commercial negotiation and activation planning focusing on new ventures and brands
  • Influence brand visibility and spot effective activation opportunities
  • Establish a clear hit list of existing and “to conquer” accounts in the On Premise (Bars, Restaurants, Hotels & Clubs) in full collaboration with the management team and prospect them actively across Zermatt, Gstaad, Tessin & Grisons.
  • Build relationships with key customers at all levels, act as primary contact for joint business development
  • Develop relationship with the Preferred Partner salesforce to enhance Portfolio’s distribution
  • Close collaboration with the Channel Hub Marketing team & local Brand Managers to develop targeted & bespoke trade activations

Ambassadorship :

  • Personifies the brands, living and breathing its DNA, act as the ambassador in the market
  • Creates strong relationship and emotional connection with customers and influencers to build lasting advocacy
  • Develops a customer and trade influencers database and network
  • Organize and animate tastings to train customer’s staffs and workforces
  • Provide on-going feedback / inputs regarding changing market conditions and competitive activities and landscape to internal functions - marketing, logistics, customer service and other departments


Qualification, Experience, Skills Required:

Education & Qualifications :

  • Degree level education



  • Fluent in German, Italian, & English
  • French a plus

Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • Commercial assertiveness
  • Strong business acumen
  • Entrepreneurial and spirit of conquest attitude
  • Good analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply information
  • Wine and spirits knowledge advantageous
  • Previous sales experience and understanding of dynamics advantageous
  • Ability to establish strong relationship with key stakeholders and partners. An existing ‘spirits industry” network within the market is a plus
